FIELD SERVICE

Caproco is proud to offer comprehensive field service to our clients for their corrosion monitoring programs. Our dedicated crews have years of experience working with our own equipment and other companies’ corrosion monitoring systems.

The following is an example of the support our service department can offer:
  • Installation supervision
(e.g. supervising positioning/welding of access fittings)
  • “Hot or Cold Tapping” into the line
  • Pressure testing, supervision during commissioning
  • Equipment servicing and replacements
(coupons, probes, injection fittings) – all under full operating pressure
  • Installation and set-up of instrumentation

Hard-to-Access Locations?
We can get there. Our service department has well-equipped trucks that can handle logging roads and pipeline right-of-ways. For those locations that are not accessible by driving, our equipment is portable enough to be carried by plane, helicopter, boat, ski-doo or all-terrain-vehicle.

We regularly work in hard-to-reach areas, including: bell holes, vaults, exposed pipeline excavations, offshore platforms and towers.

Our service crews are certified to rigid industry regulations regarding health and safety, including:

  • H2S
  • WHMIS
  • Confined Entry
  • Self Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA)
  • First Aid
  • Transportation of Dangerous Goods
  • Partnerships in Health and Safety (Occupational Health and Safety)
  • Client specific safety orientations
  • Working on pressurized equipment
  • Caproco focuses on providing quality customer service, and it shows in our responsiveness and flexibility to client’s needs. We make it our practice to work in a consultative way with clients, coordinating schedules and offering advice when we see an opportunity for improvement. It is our desire to work with our clients over the long period; some have been with us for over 25 years! We like to think of it as a partnership more than a contracting relationship, and we provide the dedication and service to reflect this.

Because Caproco works with corrosion monitoring equipment daily, our service crews understand the equipment intimately, and can recognize a potential problem or opportunity for improvement in the field. Let Caproco take care of the corrosion monitoring, and you can rest assured that this aspect of your operation is being well looked after.
