Caproco’s designs, manufacturing processes and finished parts meet an array of industry specifications and codes.

ISO 9001:2015 Quality Certification
The International Organization for Standardization (ISO) is the specialized international agency for standardization, at present comprising the national standards bodies of over 110 countries. The objective of ISO is to promote the development of standardization and related world activities with a view to facilitating international exchange of goods and services and to developing cooperation in the sphere of intellectual, scientific, technological, and economic activity.

Both the Canadian Standards Association and the American Society for Quality Control have adopted the ISO standards. To achieve the ISO 9001:2015 designation, a manufacturing company must demonstrate effective documentation of quality system elements to be implemented in order to maintain an efficient quality system in the company.

Caproco achieved ISO certification in June 1995, and is registered with Intertek Testing Services NA Inc under ANSI National Accreditation Board (ANAB) to ISO 9001:2015.

NACE Certification
The National Association of Corrosion Engineers (NACE) is the world’s largest organization dedicated to the study and prevention of corrosion. NACE oversees technical committees that produce consensus industry standards in the form of test methods, recommended practices, and material requirements. Industries and governments across the globe rely on NACE standards for materials preservation and corrosion control information.

Caproco material selection complies with the NACE material requirements that dictate the necessary characteristics of a material where corrosion is a factor in the selection, application and maintenance of the material.

MR0175-2002
Sulfide Stress Cracking Resistant Metallic Materials for Oilfield Equipment

This latest standard is ANSI approved and internationally recognized. It specifies the metallic material requirements for resistance to sulfide stress cracking (SSC) for petroleum production, drilling, gathering/flow line equipment, and field processing facilities to be used in H2S-bearing hydrocarbon service. The standard is applicable to all components of equipment exposed to sour environments where failure by SSC would prevent the equipment from being restored to an operating condition while continuing to contain pressure; compromise the integrity of the pressure-containment system; and/or prevent the basic function of the equipment from occurring. Sections of the standard address: ferrous and nonferrous metals; fabrication; bolting; plating and coatings; special components; valves and chokes; wells, flow lines, gathering lines, facilities, field processing plants; and drilling and well-servicing equipment.
